Former Musketeer Kaiser Gates signs Two-Way Contract with Pelicans

Former Musketeer Kaiser Gates gets another chance at the NBA.

 

According to the Athletic's Shams Charania, Gates has agreed to a two-way contract as a member of the New Orleans Pelicans. 

 

Kaiser was undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, later signing with the Windy City Bulls.

 

Kaiser has also played with the Maine Celtics, and the Long Island Nets where he has been a career 38.6% 3-point shooter during his time in the G League. Last season, Gates shot 55.4% from three for the Nets in 24 games.

 

Gates will be once again be teammates with Naji Marshall and will be another piece of the Xavier and Hornets/Pelicans lineage joining David West, Jordan Crawford, Trevon Bluiett and Marshall.
