Bartlett finished the 2023 season with 49 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery. For his career, Bartlett appeared in 50 games, recording 134 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 14.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. Bartlett had six total tackles with two tackles for loss against North Carolina in the Duke Mayo Bowl.
At 6'2" 238-pounds, Bartlett should slot in to a similar role as Daniel Grzesiak playing both linebacker and coming off the edge to help with the pass rush. His experience should provide an added boost to a defense that struggled to get to the quarterback this past season.
Bartlett started all 13 games this season for the Mountaineers, and started 27 total in his WVU career. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
