Scott Satterfield Weekly Press Conference Notes and First Look at Pitt

Cincinnati will look to improve to 2-0 on Saturday when they return to Nippert Stadium for a noon kickoff against Pitt.

Scott Satterfield met with the media today to recap the Towson win and look ahead to the River City Rivalry against Pitt.

First look at Pitt and what to expect from Pat Narduzzi's team:

Pitt is coming off a 55-24 victory over Kent State in week one. The Pitt offense rolled up 524 yards of offense, led by quarterback Eli Holstein and running back Desmond Reid.

Satterfield discussed the difference in their offense last year v this year when re-watching the film:

UC rolled up 216 yards rushing in last season's 27-20 win at Pitt. Satterfield touched on the run game against Towson and gave his thoughts on what they need to do to be successful again this season against Pitt:

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi has a history with Cincinnati after spending 2004-2006 as the defensive coordinator of the Bearcats. Satterfield described what his teams look like defensively:

The news of the day was the announcement that All American defensive tackle Dontay Corleone has been cleared to play after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs earlier in the summer.
