Glenbrook North (IL) offensive lineman commits to Cincinnati

Cincinnati added to their 2025 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon with the commitment of 2025 Glenbrook North (IL) offensive tackle Samuel Paich.

Paich visited Cincinnati unofficially on March 25th and will take his official visit to the Queen City June 13th-16th.

Following his unofficial visit to UC, Paich told 247sports' Allen Trieu the following about his visit:

“I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Coach Scott Satterfield, their head coach, Coach Nic Cardwell, the offensive line coach, Coach Niko Palazeti, the strength and conditioning coach, Coach Peter Abrams (recruiting coach), and Coach Lyn Davenport (scouting coach),” Paich told 247Sports’ Allen Trieu. “Each meeting was over 30 minutes long. The coaching staff is extremely focused, passionate, and energetic. Coach Satterfield shared his long-term vision of success for the team, and he discussed the challenges of being new to the program in a news conference. There is deep trust among the coaches and players. It is a high accountability program rooted in teaching.”

At 6-foot-6 290 pounds, Paich has the size and athleticism that offensive lineman Nic Cardwell has looked for at the tackle position during the first two recruiting cycles.

Paich is a big, physical, relentless blocker in the run game and shows great burst and punch off the line. In pass pro, Paich has good footwork and the necessary athleticism to handle a speed guy off the edge.

The Illinois native also held offers from Akron, Coastal Carolina, Navy, and Western Kentucky, among others.

UC currently sits at 44th nationally in 247sports' recruiting rankings with nine commitments in the 2025 class.
