Alabama WR Commits to Cincinnati

Cincinnati landed their first 2026 commitment on the offensive side of the ball on Monday evening when Guntersville High School (AL) wide receiver Dadrien Waller announced his commitment.

Waller attended UC's junior day last month and also visited SEC programs Auburn, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt during his recruiting process. The Alabama product ultimately chose Cincinnati over offers from Jacksonville State, Tulane, and UAB, among others.

At 6-foot-5, Waller is primarily an outside receiver who shows great speed and play-making ability on film for a guy at his size. Waller finished his junior season with 712 yards and six touchdowns on 34 receptions. The thing that stands out most when watching his film is his overall athletic ability and route running to get open. He also shows great acceleration after the catch. He also helped lead Guntersville’s boys' basketball team to an appearance in the 2025 Alabama Class 5A state semifinals.

While he is currently unranked, Waller is considered one of the top prospects in Alabama for the class of 2026. Waller is the second commitment from the state of Alabama, joining Clay-Chalkville linebacker Xavier Starks in UC's 2026 class.
